ABOUT ME

My Expertise: 

My time at IBM made me the advocate of innovation, data literacy and value-focused data processing. I got to lead specialist teams for database management, AI, data science in Japan, Germany, and the US. This was both a solid foundation and a crucial cornerstone for the next step at PwC: I used this experience to run transformation projects in a multi-vendor set-up with legacy infrastructure.

With the recently acquired transformation manager skills, I got the chance to start my own business. In these years, I got to dive deeper into data protection matters and IT strategy operationalization for clients’ business processes. For over 10 years, I run workshops, specify use cases for innovation, manage risks in transformation, lead teams for design of interfaces, drive implementation and migration and educate stakeholders.

Katrin is an award-winning leader with more than 10 years of experience in technology consulting, general management, strategy, and business transformation in both the international corporate and startup worlds. Katrin has tackled complex business transformations for some of the world’s most prestigious brands.

Katrin is an advisory and supervisory board member of several AI and IT mandates in Switzerland and Germany. She holds a Master of Business Administration, several CAS in Business and IT and speaks six languages. Katrin is a lecturer at the Technical University of Cologne and the Swiss Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences and teaches the Masterclass Leadership in a Digital Age, Marketing and Data Analytics.

She is an influential leader, founder, investor and keynote speaker at corporate and industry conferences promoting AI, digital innovation and a diverse data-driven approach.
Katrin’s two passions are technology and finance. Katrin has built her own real estate investment portfolio, is a FIRE ambassador and frugalist. She advises companies on technology, AI – how to bring AI together with people, new work and fintech.
